Mathias is a boy hand puppet from Berlin, Germany. He has been created by Flat Friends, an Australian company producing quality puppets for educators and families. Mathias has short straight white blond hair, pale peachy/pink skin, and embroidered white blonde eyebrows.
The body is made using 100% Premium Quality Soft Polyester Velour Fabric. The head, body, arms and legs are stuffed to allow easy handling for play and to make the puppet more like a stuffed soft toy. An average size adult hand and fingers fit comfortably from the back of the body into the head, mouth and arms. His mouth opens and he has a tongue.
He is wearing German folk costume. His lederhosen (which means leather) shorts are made with black vinyl, and they have a colourful woven patch at the front and suspenders. He is wearing a long sleeve white shirt with buttons and a collar. His shoes are made with black vinyl and he is wearing a black brim hat with a band and feathers.
